I was introduced to several traditional printmaking methods when I studied printmaking at the Curwen Print Study Centre where I gained the Certificate in Fine Art Printmaking.

The relief process and especially linocut became the printmaking method which appealed to me the most.  I enjoy the quiet and absorbing process of carving the plates and endeavour to exploit the simple line and composition characteristics of relief print.  Mainly working with multiple plates and block colour, I create variable, small editions.
